After months of specifications and leaks, Motorola has finally taken the wraps off the sting  30 Ultra.  together with the Edge 30 Ultra, the Lenovo-owned smartphone company has launched the sting  30 Fusion, a trimmed-down version of the string  30. Although an extension of the sting  30 series, the Ultra and Fusion bring curved displays. Next.  the sting  30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion cater to the needs of different audiences, but both smartphones come long before.  for instance,  the sting  30 Ultra comes with the world's first 200-megapixel sensor.  to feature its benefits, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is currently the flagship processor by the chipmaker.

On paper, the Motorola Edge 30  seems like an interesting device if you are looking for a premium phone. However,  to seek out whether you should buy the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, read my first impressions of the device.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: Design

For years, Motorola didn't experiment much with the looks of its smartphones. However, with the newest  Edge 30 Ultra, Motorola has proved its critics wrong. A curved display with thin bezels, a sandstone-like soft-finished rear panel and an enormous camera sensor housed inside a square-shaped module are the first things you might notice about the phone. Another noticeable thing about the phone is that the metal frame, which adds to the premium look of the phone. Not only does it look easy on the eyes, but it's fantastic to feel in the hand.

.That said,  the sting  30 Ultra weighs in at 198 grams, which is slightly heavier than the sting  30 Fusion, which is on the slimmer side. Despite the load,  the sting  30 Ultra has a compact form factor. However, the metal frame can easily make the phone thinner than your palm, so it's recommended to use the phone with a case.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: Performance and Camera

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset has been utilized in  Motorola Edge 30 with 8GB of RAM.  the corporate also promises 3 assured Android updates and 4 years of security patches. The smartphone runs on Android 12 out of the box. So on paper, the Motorola Edge 30 UItra seems like the device that has everything it needs to be the flagship killer. Although I used the device for about two days, I didn't find anything particularly troubling about the sting  30 Ultra. The display, though curved, supports 144Hz, so apps load faster than you'd imagine, the touch response is buttery smooth,  and therefore the battery hasn't proven to be a bummer so far. However, to determine the true potential of the device, I've got to pass the phone through rigorous tests. Only then wouldn't it be appropriate for me to comment on how good or bad the Edge 30 Ultra's performance is.

As for the cameras, I had high hopes when Motorola announced the world's first camera with a 200-megapixel sensor. Although the megapixel count in your phone is of little importance, your interests pique when a smartphone company tries to try to do something no one thought of before. Currently, most of the OEMs in India have launched smartphones with the 108-megapixel camera sensor.  I've got yet to test how the camera performs in different lighting conditions. So far, I've only been ready to test the camera in daylight and photos come out vibrant, with colour reproduction being punchy too. I'd be in a  better place to comment on them only after I've tested the cameras in different conditions.  to understand more about the camera performance of the device,  you would like to check out the full review.
